  1. Nice choice on the first movement. In the future, how about a Selitta sw200, not too pricey and still "Swiss" made.

  2. Hi Phil, thanks!

Since this Modern Fliegeruhr – Aviator is our first introductory model, we wanted to make it as affordable as possible. Plus, Miyota, although Asian made, is well-known for its quality/performance. Many known brands use Miyota movements.

In future models, we are definitely open to use any movements such as Sellita, ETA, Unitas, ...etc, depending on demand and final cost of production. As you know, Praesto aims to produce premium timepieces that should be affordable to buy.

We encourage everyone who wants to have an influence on what models to be made in future, what movement to use, ... etc., to join other members of our forum to discuss about all these "issues". Currently, we're running a design contest here: http://watchandclockforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=122&t=4793 Please join us as it is a good chance for you and everyone else to take part in the designing / selection process!
